It's recommended that everybody has their eyes tested, at least every 2 years.
Eye tests are essential for those who need contacts or glasses to enable them to see. But if you don't have any vision problems, it's still important that you have your regular check-ups.
The eyes can tell us a lot about the general health of the body, so when eye tests are such an easy thing to organise, there's no real excuse why not!
Our friendly team will give you a warm welcome, and if you're early, or if there is a short time to wait, they're sure to offer you a drink.

When it's time for your eye test, one of our experienced and trusted Optometrists will guide you through the test, happy to answer any questions you may have along the way
After your test, you will be able to take your prescription. This will tell an optician what power lenses you need
It is important to know that the prescription you receive after your eye test, is not a contact lens prescription. If you are considering contact lenses, the prescription for this may differ, and we recommend having a contact lens consultation if this is what you need.
It's also useful to know, that if you are looking for new glasses, the dispensing optician will combine the information on the prescription, with measurements of you wearing your chosen frame, to ensure the best possible vision.
